There’s a particular magic that arises when seasoned producers with diverse roots come together under a unified spirit – not for fame, but for connection. That’s precisely what MISINGO represents. A transcontinental studio experiment born out of isolation during the Covid era, the group spans hemispheres and histories: Doorly from Yorkshire, LA legend Gary Richards (aka Destructo), and Australian duo Colour Castle. Their debut release, Give You Love, arrives via UK house institution Hard Times Records, and it’s as soulful as it is floor-focused.

Anchored by a slowly igniting acid line and enveloping, melancholic synths, Give You Love carries the spirit of classic house in its DNA without ever falling into imitation. DJ Rae’s smoky vocal, recorded at Doorly’s Ibiza studio, sets the tone – raw, intimate, and immediate. Gene Farris then enters with a gravelly, magnetic counterpoint, transforming the call-and-response into something spiritual. It’s a track that sounds new and yet lived-in all at once, a remote session that somehow manages to land with unity and purpose.

For the remix package, Hard Times reaches into its family, rolling out a heavyweight cast that spans generations of lineages within dance music.

First, DJ Pierre—Phuture pioneer himself—delivers a Wild Pitch rendition loaded with gloss and summertime swagger. Shimmering keys, punchy drum machines, and a syrup-thick bassline collide in a mix tailor-made for sunsets and open-air sound systems.

DJ Romain brings the New York swing. Velvety chords, jabbing pianos, and organs that spiral upwards. It’s gospel-house energy that doesn’t need to shout to be heard, a reminder that soul still moves the dancefloor.

Closing out the package is Charles Lavine, known for his work with Soul Clap, whose Boston-bred funk sensibility takes the track into new territories. He strips the mix down, letting Rae’s vocal glide over the groove and injecting a subtle bounce that attracts both glances and hips.
