With "Love Seeking," Mind Against demonstrate a renewed depth in songwriting. While the duo is known for their dark and intense productions, this new, poignant retrospective single focuses on the euphoric sensations linked to finding love on the dance floor. The sound, with its punchy bassline, an addictive hook, and accelerating synths, aligns perfectly with what Life and Death does best: highlighting melodies, vocals, and indie dance elements in club-oriented electronic music.

“This EP is very special for us, as it marks our return to our first label,” Mind Against comments about Love Seeking. “Since the release of our Atlant EP in 2013, both we and Life and Death have followed our own paths, and it’s a great feeling to return to our original mothership with a genuine artistic proposition, both musically and visually.”

Looking ahead, Mind Against is releasing this vinyl which will include extended/club mixes and a remix by Ame, the head of Innervisions. The release is accompanied by lush new visuals from Hugo Richel (Balenciaga, Lil Nas X), bringing new dimensions to Mind Against’s new sound, along with a mind-blowing new live show titled HABITAT, which debuted in April at the London Roundhouse.

Originally from Italy and currently based in Lisbon, brothers Alessandro and Federico Fogini have made a name for themselves as Mind Against in the global dance music scene, being recognized for their rich emotional sound palette. With their characteristic deep and immersive approach to house and techno, and their masterful "all-night-long" performances, the duo has become an acclaimed and globally sought-after act in the underground dance music space.

With a mission to resurrect sounds and trends that have come and gone, DJ Tennis (real name Manfredi Romano) founded Life and Death at a time when minimalistic and percussive music dominated the underground. Romano broke the mold by bringing lively and soulful sounds to the forefront, along with his own post-rock influences, resulting in beloved records from artists like Red Axes, Recondite, Carlita, Jimi Jules, and more.

Romano’s experience in the music industry, spanning over a decade, from tour managing punk bands to being an event organizer, artist, label head, and everything in between, has shaped him into the ideal curator. He has performed and collaborated on original music with LP Giobbi and Alex Metric, remixed artists like Maribou State and Jungle, played b2b sets with Gerd Janson and Kerri Chandler, and has also managed Tale Of Us and Carlita.
