Following up on the success of the Folktronic EP, Crying Outcast continues its descent through the earth with Turf Step EP, the next chapter from Miles J Paralysis. Digging deeper into the fissures between dub energy, murky house and slow-motion ritualism, this four track work feels like a call from the bowels of the earth.

Rooted in a shared sense of groove and disorientation, the four tracks drift in distinct directions, laced together with fragmented vocals, worn textures and a haze of echoes. Rhythms are dense, atmospheres hazy, and the hand-crafted quality of the music remains, drawing you back into this familiar, dimly lit world.

Made for movement but woven with disquiet, this EP leaves a disturbing trail.
