Satya welcomes one of the most respected talents of the Romanian underground scene, Mihai Pol, with a vinyl-only release titled Ebb And Flow. With a sound that embodies precision, groove, and an ever-evolving narrative, Mihai has carved out a unique spot within the minimal tech-house landscape since his breakthrough in 2016 with Goneta on the Capodopere label.

His music, renowned for its subtle emotional depth and dancefloor functionality, continues to evolve, with each release revealing a new facet of his sonic palette. From the acidic energy of Synkop to the dreamlike drive of Tango, no two records sound the same. A regular on the Telum label and a presence at iconic venues like Hoppetosse, La Java, The Block, and the Sunwaves festival, Mihai demonstrates his talent both in the booth and in the studio.

On Ebb And Flow, Mihai presents a carefully curated selection of tracks created over a concentrated period of one to two months, all with a clean, underground, and club-oriented spirit. “There was no cultural reference for them,” he comments. “Just me putting sounds together and playing them live.” Built with a broad analog base—MPC1000, Rytm, Digitone, Virus, Modular, Prophet6, Octatrack—and some select samples, the EP reflects Mihai's organic approach to groove and texture.

“I like to make people dance and feel good, but I also try to tell a story,” he says. Ebb And Flow is exactly that: a dancefloor journey that moves the body and speaks to the soul.
