Beginning of a new series of official reworks from the Warner Music catalog, a very special collaboration between Too Slow To Disco and this major record label, which we have been working on for a long time.

We are more than thrilled to kick off our collaboration with Warner Music with DoctorSoul’s official reworks for one of the most prolific musicians in the Westcoast/Jazz/AOR/Yacht scene of California: the incomparable MICHAEL FRANKS, who personally approved these new versions.

Across 33 years and 16 albums, Michael Franks has mesmerized an international legion of followers with his unique artistry. Effortlessly weaving lyrics of astonishing sensuality, wit, reflection, and literary eloquence over music that masterfully employs nuances of jazz, soul, pop, chamber music, and sounds from around the world. His music has been covered by countless international stars such as The Carpenters, Shirley Bassey, Ringo Starr, Natalie Cole, among others. His legacy continues and is loved by many modern musicians and producers in today's Balearic/Soft Disco scene.

Parisian producer DOCTORSOUL is a long-time TSTD collaborator. These Michael Franks reworks have been circulating on the internet for some time, and we are proud to finally release them officially! This DJ, music producer, and sound designer has collaborated with many artists and bands from diverse genres, including jazz, with remixes for legends like Tania Maria, Jeff Cascaro, Mandoo, and Interview, to name just a few.
