Michael D. Old - Move Your Time EP [Chiwax]

Rawax welcomes a new name to its Chiwax sub-label: Michele Del Vecchio, also known as Michael D. Old. The Italian producer debuts with the first of two EPs scheduled for the German label, a four-track release.

He confidently kicks off with “Loving Party,” a beautiful piece of warm and luminous deep house, rich in clipped vocals, disco-tinged synth strings, dynamic rhythms, and powerful basslines. He then unfurls the more classic sounds of piano-laden deep house in “Everybody.” On the B-side, he delves into ultra-deep and spatial realms with the warm and wonderful “Close Your Eyes,” before connecting the dots between Soundstream and deep Italo-house in “Locking.”
