Norwegian talent Meera makes her Crosstown Rebels debut with the atmospheric 'Stikk'. The EP showcases the young artist demonstrating her production prowess, accompanied by remixes from Dennis Cruz and Tripolism.

Following the success of her debut single 'Music For Humans' in 2023, Norway's Meera was quickly recruited by Damian Lazarus, joining him at his Hï Ibiza residency before heading to Rebellion to release the resounding 'Teflon'. The in-demand artist has shown no signs of slowing down, releasing a string of remixes this year in addition to European appearances, festivals, and Ibiza stops. Keeping up this momentum, she now makes her debut on Lazarus's label, the renowned Crosstown Rebels, with 'Stikk', with label regular Dennis Cruz jumping in on remix duties alongside the melodic Danish trio and past collaborators Tripolism, who also make their first Crosstown appearance.

Venturing into the territories of afro-house, Meera's production is fresh, confident, and creative. With eclectic influences audible throughout her distinctive sound, her 'Stikk' EP proves why she caught the attention of artists such as Jimi Jules and John Digweed. The title track is characterized by minimal rising percussions, introspective piano melodies, and delicate dream-like vocals. In contrast, Tripolism's remix heightens the intensity to a biting climax, adding sharp synth pads for a more dancefloor-focused feel. 'Sykkelkurv' seeks to reach higher emotional planes with its atmospheric soundscape, somber chords, and hard-hitting drums, walking between light and darkness. Meanwhile, Dennis Cruz's rendition speeds things up with deep grooves and chunky basslines, increasing the pace for the peak time.
