The Innervisions team has long been a fan of Matthew Dekay & Lee Burridge’s “Lost in a Moment,” a track that first appeared on an Âme compilation back in 2012 and went largely unnoticed. Here, the track finally receives its first official single release, accompanied by a new reinterpretation from label co-founder, Dixon.

The original version, dreamy, emotion-laden, and full of melancholic moments, blessed by heart-squeezing piano motifs and ethereal, enveloping chords, remains a magnificent piece of melodic tech-house and fully deserves this first vinyl appearance.

Dixon takes it to a slightly different place on his rework, equally epic, layering the original's winding synth solos over a somewhat more haunting foundation, rich in arpeggiated synth lines with a hypnotic feel and delicate Turkish-inspired nuances.
