Marvin & Guy return to Permanent Vacation with the EP "Migration", marking their third release for the label and a new evolution in M&G's sound.

Migration means movement: understanding when a territory is no longer hospitable and finding new means of livelihood. In this specific case, it refers to new inspirations, new ideas, and the exploration of new sounds.

Marvin & Guy arose from the synergy between two eclectic minds, more interested in sound than technique. After several years within a specifically dance-oriented scene, they decided to begin a transition towards a purer, more ancestral form of sound. To achieve this, they set aside all the dogmas of beloved dance music and focused more on simply playing and having fun with synthesizers and drum machines, creating a completely analog session as if it had been made 40 years ago. Migration was born from jam sessions recorded in real-time and then worked through intense post-production and meticulous editing.
