Following on from the runaway success of his recent Return of The Hitman vinyl album, Marvellous Cain returns with a striking piece of vinyl adorned with perhaps the most iconic Marv artwork ever created.

The Jungle Funk EP drops fresh out of the box, kicking off with what might be the funkiest drum and bass track of the year. Love Train has received huge support since its promotion this summer – perfect vibes for a huge outdoor sound system. Razor sharp drums underpin soulful melodies which, in turn, compliment an irresistible funk bass riff, guaranteed to get you into party mode.

On first hearing Love Train, talented Brazilian DJ and turntablist wizard DJ Marky was instantly enchanted and offered to jump on board the release with a remix. Of course, we accepted!

DJ Marky seasons the track with favela flavours and adds a ground shaking bassline that will have you shuffling, dancing, and calling for the rewind well into the closing bars.

On the B-side of this spectacular picture disc, Marvellous Cain presents two brand new Drum & Bass / Jungle cuts. Buss Ah Blank fuses modern bass music sounds for the dancefloor with 70s soul; a track that has been a favourite of names like Nicky Blackmarket, Charlotte Devaney, and caused a real ruckus when Marvellous Cain dropped it at Notting Hill Carnival with the mighty Rampage Soundsystem.
