A thrilling highlight of Drumcode’s ADE Awakenings event when Eli Brown first joined the crew at Gashouder, ‘When I Push’, is shaping up to be an early contender for techno track of 2024. The cut follows Brown’s impressive ‘RIDE OR DIE’ with HI-LO and a string of standout releases led by ‘Be The One’, which has an incredible 41 million streams on Spotify, reaffirming his powerhouse status.

Similarly, Giordani has enjoyed another impressive year, with both ‘Life Moves Fast’ and ‘Phantom’, his two beloved 2023 releases, standing at 1.6 and 2.5 million streams respectively, while he recently fulfilled a childhood dream playing b2b with Adam Beyer at Gashouder. ‘When I Push’ immediately grips listeners with a seductive vocal: ‘When I push, I feel good / when I pull, I feel good’, taken from OFFAIAH’s electrifying 2018 Defected smash ‘Push Pull’, which is blended with a striking bassline for high-impact effect. Amidst pulsing low-end stabs, the track builds a dizzying crescendo before dropping into a bombastic rhythm at the final chorus.
