Medellin producer Marck D (Charlie Escobar) is Planet Rhythm's newest protege, though his back catalogue of digital releases is already colossal even without counting them, with multiple forays on labels such as Illegal Alien, Phobiq and IAMT. It's surprising, then, that Dune is the first 12" in Escobar's career; the record offers ultrafonic chord smears (Behind The Chord) and federated, intergalactic techno honour codes (Atreides), riding on the sandy theme of Frank Herbert's sci-fi classic.
