Possibly one of the most influential tracks in Get Physical's history, "O Superman" returns in a new edition that includes remixes by Man Power and SIS, as well as the 2008 version by Robag Wruhme and a remastering of the already classic original track.

Man Power kicks off this series of reinterpretations with an epic ten-and-a-half-minute version that patiently expands the original melodies into atmospheric layers and sustained bass notes over precise micro-house-influenced rhythms, before unleashing loose and powerful breakbeats after a striking and prolonged breakdown.

Meanwhile, SIS presents a dreamy, percussion-laden version, showing the German producer at his most hypnotic and dancefloor-focused. His interpretation centers on the ebb and flow of the characteristic vocoder and melodic synthesizers of the original, which glide over an impeccable groove.

For those who missed it at the time, Robag's "Pumper-Nikkel" remix remains another brilliant example of the producer's playful style: a work full of cuts, fragments, and reconstructed funk that still sounds as fresh as the first day.

The remixes of M.A.N.D.Y. vs Booka Shade feat. Laurie Anderson – "O Superman" will be released by Get Physical on 12" vinyl at the end of July, followed by a digital release in the autumn.
