Lumieux - Oneiro EP (vinyl only) [Purple Print]

Unlucky for some, this 13th installment of Purple Print is another stunner for minimal and tech house heads. It’s Lemieux who takes controls with four finely worked dynamite cuts for the dance floor. Opening is the skilled, repetitive, and psychedelic sound of “Put It Out,” which comes from the Villalobos school of minimalism. “Jah” ups the pace with a skilled and dubby sound, with bubbling pads and chopped vocals adding the details. “Back In The Day” layers silky pads, vocoded vocals, and intertwined bass in a minimal sweep, and finally, “I Leave” closes with a playful minimal dub sound, accompanied by paranoid vocals.
