Italian DJ and producer Luigi Madonna channels high-voltage technical pressure in his latest release for Planet Rhythm. The Shinto torii on the cover contrasts sharply with the EP's frantic mechanics, and 'Red Gate' — if it reflects any kind of religiosity — does so through heavy, menacing kick drums alongside a reflective lead, closer to an apocalyptic techno cult than a decentralized polytheism. Nothing like the image of peace suggested by the cover!

'Untuned Harmonics' softens the textural harshness of A1 to offer a more dynamic and precise sound construction, while 'Over The Sky' intertwines automatic growls and chirps over sizzling hats.
