We are delighted to welcome back the legendary Winding Road Records label. Originally launched in 2002 by Schmoov! and home to releases from cult artists such as Ron Basejam, Hot Toddy, both of Crazy P fame, as well as Vincenzo, Rhythm Plate, Spirit Catcher, not forgetting Lovebirds and their massive hit I Want You In My Soul. After a hiatus, the label returns strong and once again links up with Lovebirds for another classic EP.

“They Call Me” is a funk-laden gem, complete with bluesy vocals and brass, all with a certain Moodymann-esque feel. Swirling keys, an amazing live bass, and solid beats. An absolute dancefloor winner.

“Smooth & Fatfree” is a dreamy downtempo groove, featuring the fattest, bounciest, juiciest bass in town, alongside the smoothest keys this side of Berlin. Pure afterparty gold.

Finally, “Bali Birds” delivers a sleek, alluring deep house groove, with a vibrant bassline nestling amongst smooth chords and delicate strings, reminiscent of Super Discount vibes.
