Buoyed by renewed recognition following Running Back’s expanded reissue of his 1996 classic “Open Door,” Peter Kremeier, aka LoSoul, brings his distinctive dusty, hypnotic house style to Rawax’s RX series.

He confidently kicks off with “Outer Signal,” where sizzling funk guitar riffs and subtle synth tones interweave with tightly coiled beats, murky stabs, and a looped bassline. He shifts focus on “Art Form,” offering a slowed-down groove, textured analog bass, hypnotic modular loops, trance-inducing house rhythms, and echoes of soundsystem-style bleeps.

Essentially, it’s another standout two-tracker from one of Germany’s most unique house producers.
