Chicago house pioneer Lil Louis truly hit the jackpot when he wrote "Club Lonely" in 1992 with his group The World. Taken from his album A Journey With The Lonely, with lead vocals by Joi Cardwell, the song instantly became a club hit. Years later, it still generates a huge reaction on the dance floor, which is why it has now been re-released by Epic, accompanied by a series of remixes.

The I'm On The Guest List Mix stands out for its unpredictable saxophone lines and sensual vocals; the instrumental is more stripped down and club-oriented. The DJ Pierre's Afro Club Mix brings a free energy with powerful synths, while the Bellbottoms & Platforms Mix is a subtle tweak. Finally, the rawest of all is the Radically Lonely Mix, which closes with a bang.
