DFA Records' latest awakening features James Murphy and co. barely lifting a finger… just enough to spark an avalanche of anticipation, as this is their first material in three years. Originally premiered on NTS to a rapturous reception, this release—the first since 2022—arrives with very little promotional text but a sonic payload of bubbling synths and crisp drums, shaping a familiar yet more refined sound.

Echoes of the band's early style resonate in this exclusive 12”, accompanied by an inverted version: the Extended Trash Can Dub, which adds found sounds, street springs, and whispers of spiritual quest, transforming the original track into an indie explosion with force, a promise of possibilities that the original cut merely hints at without fully delivering.
