Short Attention Records makes a welcome return with a new vinyl release that connects the label boss with his roots in the deep techno sound worlds. This instalment takes the form of a various artists EP, designed for cozy dancefloor environments. And who better to initiate that vibe than the acclaimed Lawrence, whose track 'Hawser' is a melodic, grooving track. Next, New Jersey master Joey Anderson sets a slow and deep tone with 'Human Kind', which features melancholic vocals. Japanese artist Takuya Matsumoto follows with 'Three Flowers', a more powerful and energetic cut with a fine acid bassline. Closing out the EP, we find R/K's 'Desired Spring', a loop-driven deep house gem, designed for both listening and dancing.
