KiNK & Raredub inaugurate SHDW's new sub-label Spectra on Mutual Rytm, with remixes by the iconic Marcel Dettmann. Spectra is a new sub-label of the influential techno project Mutual Rytm, designed to showcase memorable singles accompanied by innovative reinterpretations. The name Spectra reflects the wide range of vibes and diverse sounds that the label seeks to explore through these creative reworkings.

With no need for an introduction, Bulgarian KiNK is a synth wizard and live performance specialist, capable of coaxing more from machines than anyone. He has released countless hits on labels like Running Back, Hypercolour, and most recently, on Mutual Rytm with his EP "Quantum Shake" earlier this year. This time, he collaborates with his compatriot Raredub, known for his dynamic, distinctive, and high-intensity sound that has received support from artists such as FJAAK and Paul Woolford.

The original track, "Time to Change", has already generated excitement and become a favorite among DJs across the electronic spectrum. It's a forceful cut brimming with mechanical funk, featuring a powerful bassline and a vibrant lead synth that cuts through the mix with great intensity, while garage-style percussive loops maintain the energy.

Marcel Dettmann, one of techno's most influential DJs and producers and a long-standing Berghain resident, joins the release with his unique touch as the project's first remixer. His "Reconstruction" adds subtle nuances by slowing down the beats into a more house-infused, dubby atmosphere, integrating bright synths and enveloping vocal loops that will raise hands in the air. His "Universal Raw Mix" closes the package in style, delivering a minimalist track with eerie vocals and somber synth details.
