Kiko Navarro & Pere Navarro - Les Cousins EP [Rekids]

Kiko Navarro and Pere Navarro (no relation) debut on Radio Slave's Rekids label with their first EP titled Les Cousins. This release includes three tracks that fuse infectious House grooves with Pere's Jazz-influenced trumpet solos, resulting in an elegant EP, rooted in classic sounds but with a modern and distinctive approach.

Both originally from the Balearic Islands —Kiko, an experienced DJ and producer from Mallorca with music on labels like King Street Sounds, Pacha Recordings, Shall Not Fade, among others; and Pere, a multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer, and DJ from Ibiza—, they first met at a private party, where Pere spontaneously joined Kiko's DJ set playing the trumpet. From there, a collaboration emerged that continued when Kiko invited Pere to record a trumpet solo for a Louie Vega remix, which ultimately led them to create their debut EP Les Cousins.
