Kiko Navarro & Pere Navarro - Les Cousins EP [Rekids]

Kiko Navarro and Pere Navarro debut on Radio Slave's Rekids label with their first EP, Les Cousins. This release includes three tracks that blend infectious house grooves with jazz-infused trumpet solos by Pere, resulting in an elegant EP rooted in classic sounds but with a distinct modern focus.

Both originally from the Balearic Islands, Kiko is an experienced DJ and producer from Mallorca, with music released on labels such as King Street Sounds, Pacha Recordings, Shall Not Fade, among others. Pere, on the other hand, is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer from Ibiza. Despite sharing a surname, they are not related; they met at a private party, where Pere spontaneously joined Kiko's set by playing the trumpet. From that moment, they began to collaborate, and their artistic connection solidified when Kiko invited Pere to record a trumpet solo for a Louie Vega remix. This collaboration now culminates in the creation of their debut EP, Les Cousins, which will be released on Rekids this May.
