Kenneth Scott - Light Blooming [Circus Company]

After well-received collaborations with us as one half of SF dynamic duo Moniker, whose classic anthem “Billy D” and respective Patrice Scott remix graced the early catalogue, followed by the galactic Straylight EP featuring fellow Californian Dave Aju on velvet vocoder duties and a stellar Kai Alcé remix on the Another affiliate, and of course, his indelible contributions to the arrangements/shenanigans on the wonderful KAMM Cookie Policies LP, Kenneth Scott is basically an extended household name for our camp, which is why we’re more than proud to be presenting his first solo release for the Circus Company imprint.

As ever, schooled in the deepest roots of electronic music and the most elegant traditions of the dancefloor, the three pieces making up the Light Blooming EP showcase all the prized synth magic and production ingenuity that we’ve come to expect from the Berlin-based veteran.

Brimming with early Warp sensations and futuristic sci-fi hopes in equal measure, the Light Blooming EP are three tracks of pure funk precision and expressive musical class from the man Kenneth Scott.
