Katerina - One (Incl. Aleksi Perälä Remix) [Rekids]

Running Back and Hivern Discs artist Katerina debuts on Rekids with a dreamy house EP titled 'One', featuring a remix from Aleksi Perälä.

The EP's titular track 'One' by Katerina on Rekids begins with corporeal bass, rich analog synth lines, and smooth melodies with vocals. The Finnish-Bulgarian artist appears on Rekids after her Panorama Bar debut in 2023 for the label, now adding Radio Slave's imprint to her extensive discography on labels such as Running Back, Hivern Discs, and Rhythm Section.

Fellow Finnish artist and international scene legend Aleksi Perälä joins Katerina's 'One' EP for the remix. Known for his imaginative sound design work on Clone, Trip, Rephlex, and his own AP Musik label, Perälä transforms 'One' into an equally whimsical and ever-evolving dance journey. Dreamy keys drip over rolling drums in his version before Katerina's 'Papu' introduces the B-side, with a set of strange chords played over a sticky bassline. 'Look Into My Eyes' is the last with a beautiful dub sound, a deep bass, and more early morning melodies, closing this irresistible addition to the Rekids family.
