Kapote Presents: Mushroom House Vol.1 [Toy Tonics]

German producer Kapote has previously featured on a number of Toy Tonics compilations, so it's no surprise to find him at the helm on "Mushroom House", a superb selection of the more Afro-cosmic and Balearic-influenced aspects of the label's vast catalogue. There's plenty to get the pulse racing across the two-vinyl set, from the Afro-house and dub bounce of Ponty Mython's "Slippin' Into Darkness", to the hazy Afro-disco mist of Munk's "Nigerian Jam". Also included are the intergalactic electro journey of The Asphodells' killer remix of Deadstock 33s' "The Circular Path", and the infectious, spacey Italo-disco throb of Baldelli's "Phobos (Version 2020)".
