Argentinian veteran Jorge Savoretti has been djing for over 20 years, with his first release on Esperanza Records dating back to 2005. In this time he has produced 2 albums, 20 EPs and a large number of remixes on labels such as Raum Musik, Visionquest and Ilian Tape. His debut on Cadenza is a breath of fresh air of elegant dance music.

The A-side starts off unceremoniously with “Bou Gei”, a skippy shuffle, chunky bass line, lively cymbals, and gleaming filtered chords, summing up Jorge’s true dedication to the clubs and nightlife. Without pause, “Ruth” showcases dodgy pads lurking behind a funky, swinging beat, spiced up with continuous snare rolls and playful stabs.

On the B-side, “Sensu Dub” unhesitatingly explores darker textures and resonances, without giving up space to leave the dance floor. Finally, “U-Fonk #04.01” delves into late hours of intense heat, with a mesmerizing spiral of deep tones, soaked in greasy riffs and shadowy vapors.
