John Morales Presents Curtis Hairston - I Want Your Lovin' / I Want You All Tonight

Quantize Recordings proudly presents a special 12-inch vinyl release from master John Morales, who re-works two of Curtis Hairston's most important tracks, 'I Want Your Lovin'' and 'I Want You All Tonight', to bring that mid-80s sparkle to the modern dance floor.

A master of the boogie sound, Hairston had many hits both as a solo artist and as part of the legendary BB&Q Band. Mid-tempo grooves, with funky basslines, cosmic synthesizers, and energetic guitars, along with Hairston's luxurious vocals, 'I Want Your Lovin'' and 'I Want You All Tonight' are brilliant examples of boogie at its best.

Fast forward to 2023 and the masterful John Morales, who originally mixed 'I Want You (All Tonight)' alongside Sergio Munzibai, unlocks the archives to access the multi-tracks, creating four brand new mixes. He is joined by Greg Radford, one of the original writers and producers of both tracks, to re-record and reconstruct elements that have been lost over time. The result is a wonderful vocal and dub mix of each of these certified classics, retaining all that channeled disco greatness while adding extra punch and sparkle that will make any modern dance floor rock.
