People Of Earth kicks off the year with a new project titled The Elements Series. The first installment brings together heavyweights, starting with Detroit ambient and techno master John Beltran, who opens with "Nuyorico," an upbeat house groove, full of chords and organic percussion. Javonntte's "Tropical Feelings" is another one of his deep house classics, with whispered vocals that add a spiritual vibe. Kai Alce, a key figure in Atlanta, contributes the jazzy energy of "Benefit" (NDATL instrumental mix), a house track with an enveloping rhythm.
