Johannes Klingebiel —a regular collaborator with labels such as Beats In Space, Ancient Future, and Mule Musiq— returns to the London-based label Claptrap after a four-year absence. He does so with a collection of tracks that are as confident as they are colorful and subtly cosmic.

The opening track and main piece, ‘Dolce,’ sets the tone with a fusion of tactile deep house and colorful nu-disco sonorities: thick basses with acid tints, bubbling synthesizers, and luminous melodies that convey an optimistic energy. Afterward, Klingebiel delves into his love for deeper, more psychedelic acid house in ‘Follow The Line,’ a undulating and mind-altering journey.

In ‘Pink Forest,’ he once again explores contemporary electronic disco territory, while Sun Damage's reinterpretation of ‘Follow The Line’ is truly impactful and fascinating, adding even more layers of hallucinatory musical motifs to an already hypnotic composition.
