Jobhei - Age Of Virality EP [Fuse]

A highly talented artist who has managed to make a notable impression among the scene's most respected figures, DJ/producer and label owner Jhobei is a person who continues to flourish. His deep and expansive sound has already been well-received on labels such as Up The Stuss, Limousine Dream, Mindhelmet, and Picnic Records, among others, while he also co-founded the London-based collective and label Bizarre Trax. Furthermore, his work as part of the dynamic trio Felon5, along with his unique sound, has taken him from ION Festival in Albania to Los Angeles, passing through several appearances at FUSE and its sister brands in his hometown at fabric, The Cause, and Village Underground, as well as the 2024 Open Air event in Barking Park later this year.

Continuing this relationship, new music arrives at the end of September as Enzo Siragusa invites the exciting selector to debut on his label with a series of impressive productions on his Age Of Virality EP. The opening track on side A, Swarming, is pure action and kicks off with authority, with a winding bassline guiding a garage-influenced journey through vibrant bass and catchy vocal samples, while Machine Language offers a mix of playful tones between enveloping melodies and a heavy dose of robotic funk.

On side B, Defusion Solution is a nocturnal excursion through bouncy percussion and cosmic tones, while Rising Sun slows things down to offer an elegant and hazy journey as organic percussion effortlessly unfolds. Digital buyers enjoy an extra track in the form of Kontrol Urload, a sci-fi-tinged piece that fuses brilliant neon synth motifs with powerful beats and vibrant effects for maximum impact.
