Renowned British producer and Freerange co-founder, Jimpster, returns to the forefront with a new 5-track EP that delves into the raw, emotional core of underground house.

Combining masterful production with soulful storytelling, this release features standout collaborations with two celebrated spoken word artists: OVEOUS from New York and rising star Ash Lauryn, from Atlanta via Detroit. The North Atlantic EP captures the essence of late-night dancefloors and a fusion of sounds, all wrapped in Jimpster’s signature warm, analogue textures and groove.

FLO opens the EP with a vibrant pulse: a lively groove that engulfs you like incense smoke and island vibes in a Brooklyn basement. Anchored by filtered stabs and an elastic bassline, the track unfurls with the commanding presence of OVEOUS, whose spoken word cuts through the haze with razor-sharp clarity. His voice flows with the rhythm like a sermon for the dancefloor; a direct, spiritual, and life-affirming address—this is deep house as street ceremony. The accompanying Dub pares back the vocal and brings in harmonic elements such as piano, strings and synths, bringing a warm, musical flourish.

On Feel Me, Jimpster builds an enveloping groove with punchy drums, shuffling percussion, and a soulful vibe that feels both classic and forward-thinking. Ash Lauryn’s vocal glides over the track with elegant authority, lending a seductive atmosphere to the cut. Her voice is perfectly balanced by Jimpster’s atmospheric pads and dub nuances, crafting a contemporary and irresistibly danceable house anthem. Two additional mixes of Feel Me bolster an already strong package, with a more direct, bumpy version in the House Mix, as well as a darker, more introspective take in the Freakin’ Club Mix.

This EP is more than a meeting of talents; it's a dialogue between continents, generations, and frequencies. With FLO and Feel Me, Jimpster continues to affirm his place as a producer deeply rooted in tradition, yet always looking to push his sound forward.
