Two of the most established talents in the house and techno music scene collaborate on their first release together, as Hot Creations head honcho Jamie Jones links up with Mood Records label boss Nicole Moudaber on ‘Pepper Shake’.

Short and sweet, ‘Pepper Shake’ swiftly brings us into the action, and the name certainly does the track justice. Fast-paced hats whistle alongside a punchy bassline, before a female vocal drifts in and out. Both artists’ styles are present throughout the track, with Jamie’s distinctive groove providing the foundation and Nicole’s deeper techno style manifesting in the synths. ‘Bubble Ride’ rounds out the release. Dark, gritty and more hard-hitting than its predecessor, this is a stripped-back club track designed for the peak-time of the night, with a penetrating bassline and driving kick drum patterns. The occasional pulse of an atmospheric sample further enhances the body of the track, creating something that is made exclusively for the dance floor.
