Jamek Ortega, Re.You, Fahlberg, CLARAA, Samm - MoBlack Gold Vol. X [MoBlack Records]

The MoBlack imprint continues its Gold series with a tenth instalment featuring four house tracks in various styles. Jamek Ortega, Maxi Meraki and Samm start off with the deeply emotive chords and enveloping rhythms of 'Don't Care Anymore', then Fahlberg's 'Wytal' keeps the good vibes going with a more sophisticated deep house. CLARAA's 'Kukaya' (featuring Ashimba - Fka Mash remix) is an afro sound loaded with soulful, spiritual vocals and potent kick drums, and then Re.You closes out with 'Wabi Sabi', another afro cut but this time with a bit of funk in the rhythms and a playful flair to the big horns.
