It feels like Iron Curtis has been here forever, always in the underground, never getting the recognition he deserves but never falling out of favor either. This latest production brings him to Chiwax with four more carefully tuned, dancefloor-ready offerings that are both seductive and deeply tech-focused. 'Schweben' is a pleasant rubbery groove with slowly wafting chords that melt the mind, while 'Push Push' (live at Passagen) is a fierier, more intense piece of cosmic deep house, with drive and determination. 'Factory' (Sheffield Danse mix) is a warehouse-ready tune with bright, strobe-lit chords, and 'Weather Report' closes with more denied acid and melancholy chords that draw you into a dreamlike state.
