‘Concentrate’ is a melancholic, dusty Deep House jam, with MPC piano chords, swung cymbals and vintage hip hop style hooks. ‘Homage’ is a warming slab of House with slow filtered chords, crisp hats, deep bass and ethereal pads. ‘Use What You Got’ is a lesson in doing just that, doing what he does best, the way he knows best. Raw and vibrant grooves back crystal clear synths that glisten over cavernous bass. ‘Don’t U Ever’ delves deeper with its main filtered passage, humming over phased hats, punchy kicks and chopped vocals that evoke the days of Max Graef and Money $ex. To round off the EP is the sultrier cut ‘Line’ with chopped soul vocals resonating over deeply filtered chords and synth bass accents.
