Idris Muhammad - Boogie to the Top (Young Pulse Remix) [KUDU]

A much anticipated re-release of Idris Muhammad’s 1978 gem, “Boogie To The Top”. Released a year after, arguably, his most well-known anthem, “Could Heaven Ever Be Like This”, the similarities in style and composition are evident. Flawless production, rich instrumentation, expansive drum fills, soulful vocals with a gospel touch and an epic, vibrant essence—what more could you ask for?

On the B-side, Young Pulse adds his own subtle touch, adjusting and refining the original version. He repeats the guitar riff, plays with the vocal echoes, and introduces more synth lines. Additionally, he adds a crisp clap and extra percussion, injecting more vitality into the mix without losing the essence of the original, revitalizing it for 2018.
