Mike Popov is the musician behind the I Gemin project, conceived as a way to work with disco style and sampling within his house tracks. The result is brilliant, effective and charming. Introfall (Autumn) opens with a low-profile downtempo, Come Together brings disco-house fun with brass upfront, and Black Tea Groove sinks into a deep, full-bodied groove, full of magical synth flashes.
