Huxley - MIND G%MES EP [Rekids]

Huxley debuts on Rekids with the “MIND G%MES” EP.

DJ, producer and head of Dumb Safari label, Huxley, joins Radio Slave’s Rekids for the first time with the “MIND G%MES” EP, set to be released on July 25, 2025. The first track, “M%ND,” opens with hypnotic and enveloping pads that revolve around a warm yet powerful Deep House groove. Soulful vocals and delicate cosmic melodies emerge from the mix to close the cut in style. “CLUB SH%T” elevates the intensity with vibrant synths that add texture over pounding drums, situated between House and Techno, while scattered chords and warm sounds intertwine with bells to make it a perfect tool for late-night dance floors.

“FEAR N%THING” represents a new school cut, with filtered loops, sweet chords, and a contained energy that runs throughout the track. Finally, “ANY1” is a raw and sensual House track that combines a spoken word vocal with attitude, a bouncy bassline, and fluid, Garage-influenced percussion.

Active in the underground scene for two decades, the former Rinse resident and regular on labels such as Aus, Shall Not Fade, and Unknown To The Unknown has had a remarkable career. From his game-changing hits like “Let It Go” on Hypercolour and “Box Clever” on 20:20 Vision, to his album “Blurred” on Aus (2014), Huxley has received unanimous critical acclaim and widespread support from DJs and dance floors worldwide. In recent years, his Dumb Safari label, the online community R Trybe (co-founded with Ramin Rezaie/BAKKIS), and his collaborations with Steve Bug are just a few of his projects. His new “MIND G%MES” EP for Rekids is already generating anticipation, with support from figures like Jen Cardini, Cromby, I. Jordan, Jennifer Loveless, and big room heavyweights like Michael Bibi and Solomun.
