Mexican DJ and producer Hotmood is a regular on the Blur label, where he previously released his fiery EP ‘Disco Power’. ‘ReWax’ is a new selection of his remixes of massive disco anthems, ready for the dancefloor.

Scruscru's ‘Just House’ opens the record with pounding basslines and dusty samples. Jack District's ‘Burnin’ brings filtered funk and jazzy synth work, while Manuel Kane's ‘Disco Visions’ deploys silky, mellow chords for a perfect sunset boogie.

The B-side includes three equally successful re-interpretations, from the sliding drums of ‘Blue Nights’ to the unmistakable house and soul spirit of ‘Selva’. An excellent combination of vintage charm and new-school freshness.
