Oath's sub-label, Last Year At Marienbad, is proud to present the latest and most captivating work from producer Holo: 'Astro', a record that evokes ethereal, emotionally pure, and infinitely danceable frequencies.

Based in Berlin, Holo creates dance music that seems to whisper carelessly, through a brilliantly constructed sound that relies as much on emotional hypnosis as on the essential fundamentals of composition.

'Astro' represents the next stage of his musical evolution and, as a work conceived in itself, brings together everything for which Holo has gained recognition, while exploring new territories where his sound continues to expand.

The EP's title track is an airy, fluid piece, where a half-step rhythmic drum pattern serves as a framework for delicate keyboard sparkles to awaken the soul. Meanwhile, "Spirits" elevates the intensity with a tempo change that directs the experience towards a dance floor located in some distant paradise.

On the B-side, "Sympatika" continues in the same vein, with a prolonged groove that keeps the anticipation in the air until the synthesizers arrive. Finally, "Cycles" closes the EP by shifting the focus once again towards a deeper, enveloping, and absorbing sound.
