Harry Wolfman has been a key member of the Dirt Crew family since his first collaboration with Loz Goddard in 2016. Since then, we have seen remarkable growth, with EPs on Phonica's "Karakul", "Omena" and "Outplay", all contributing to the development of his distinctive sound towards the now-consolidated lo-fi style, exploring a range of genres: ethereal ambient, electro and left-field beats, and of course deep house grooves, often loaded with breakbeats.

This new EP is no exception. Harry delivers irresistible dancefloor tracks like "Walk With Me" and the powerful title track, "Sly Contrast", but also expands the boundaries of his palette with the vocal interludes "A21z" and the majestic "Courage", featuring the voice of Mona Vale, venturing slightly into the floating world of lo-fi pop.

We also find elements of ambient and jazz ingeniously combined in "Fhloston Paradise". And the closer, "Wokit Shep", a drum break-based cut, mixes live drum loops, strings, piano, and brass, spiraling to a majestic end reminiscent of dusty, jazzy trip hop, as well as instrumental hip hop pieces.

This record offers hope for better times... we are delighted to have Harry back with such solid material, and we can't wait to hear it again on a good sound system. Enjoy.
