With ten EPs under this alias, the German producer leverages his career to deliver a key release on this highly respected techno label. These four tracks hit with urgency, yet never sound flat. There's real movement and contrast throughout, maintaining tension without needing excessive acceleration. The opener, "Fast Process," comes crashing in: steam and steel driven by a devastating kick drum and sharp percussion. Above this intensity, a spiraling melodic line floats, adding a ghostly presence suspended over the chaos. "Miami Nights" delves into another groove: the bass rolls heavily while hard chords and tribal elements give it a more earthy and grounded energy. It's relentless, but with its feet on the ground. On the B-side, "Clap Your Dubby Hands" explodes in percussion. It feels wild and physical, the kind of track capable of launching a set straight into overdrive. There's a rawness that nods to his early schranz days without getting stuck in the past. "Ultra Eight" slightly lowers the intensity and becomes deeper and more spaced out: cold, introspective, like the soundtrack of a strange and distant city.
