Gideon Jackson and Eddie Richards are true titans of tech house who have greatly contributed to shaping the genre since its inception, and the All Rise EP brings together three of their past glories, remastered and pressed on a beautiful red vinyl. The excellent Biscuit Barrel Blues opens with the kind of appealing drum work you'd expect, and is infused with some inquisitive synths and alluring vocals. There's an irresistible glitch and dryness to Pull Tab 2 Open and its hazy pads that make it perfect body music. Then, Crying (Gideon Jackson remix) brings a heavier tech house sound with added dub weight. Perfection.
