Ge-Ology feat. Kaidi Tatham - Nomadic Disorientation [Love Universal]

GE-OLOGY’s "Nomadic Disorientation" has been on many wish lists since Benji B debuted the demo version on his Radio 1 show back in June 2014. Originally intended for release on Sound Signature, and due to some unforeseen delays, the reference finally finds a new home on the Love Universal label. Moving in that hazy territory between organic deep house and 21st-century jazz-funk, this two-track release from GE-OLOGY is another genuine musical delight.

The original 2014 demo version of "Nomadic Disorientation"—a robust yet subtly light deep house cut, laden with additional Latin percussion and undulating chords—appears on the B-side. The A-side opens with the LP version, which features Kaidi Tatham. This is a truly dazzling piece, featuring exceptional and almost intergalactic-sounding synth solos by British broken beat legend Kaidi Tatham. Essential listening.
