From House To Disco - Disco House For All EP [Definitive Recordings]

From House To Disco is a very promising female duo, known for their exquisite taste in records, their deep research into the history of house, and their fresh productions. They have been highlighted as a project to watch by influential Brazilian Renato Cohen and have released music on his Massa Records label, as well as on Get Physical's COCADA Music. Now, they turn to the prestigious Definitive Recordings catalog and imprint their own style on four tracks that make up this EP, which will also be included in the 12-track compilation Disco House For All, containing more key selections from the label.

First, they tackle Blunted Dummies' "House For All" and turn it into a powerful house track with old-school synths and a deep bassline. Their remix of Las Americas' "Look, Listen, Love" brings intense drums with plenty of original Chicago style, seductive vocals, and a raw analog bassline. The duo then offers a deep and elegant twist to Wax Fruit's "Be Yourself," with melancholic pads that invite you to lose yourself in your thoughts, while delicate piano chords add an extra touch of soul. Finally, their fresh remix of Barada's "Gasoline" is a deep house gem driven by neon chords and another timeless bassline.
