Berlin-based DJ, producer, label owner, and record store head, Cinthie, presents a sublime remix of Frankie Knuckles' The Whistle Song for Frankie Knuckles Day via SoSure Music, alongside the Re-Directed version by Director’s Cut.

Known and loved as The Godfather of House, Frankie Knuckles' pioneering sound inspired a movement of love on the dancefloors of the Chicago Warehouse and beyond. Throughout a career spanning over four decades, there were key moments that set the course for house music and forever changed the trajectory of dance music. In 1991, his album Beyond The Mix on Virgin Records featured one of those unforgettable moments: The Whistle Song, a track that not only became his first number one on the US Dance Chart, but also solidified itself as one of house music's most iconic and recognizable productions.

More recently, the track was Re-Directed under the Director’s Cut project, where Frankie worked alongside his long-time collaborator and friend, Eric Kupper. Now, with the arrival of Frankie Knuckles Day on August 25th, Cinthie delivers a brand new remix of this timeless classic.
