Frank and Tony have a long history together that has produced many momentous moments, and the release of the album Ethos this year on their own Scissor & Thread label marked another highlight.

The album saw the long-term friends and collaborators produce a work that was joyful, thoughtful, and politically charged. Added to this is this five-track remix EP featuring artists of distinct pedigree to reimagine some of the songs, and to stunning effect.

First up is Cecile with Eliana Glass, the pianist and vocalist who graces a couple of songs from the album and this EP. Charles Webster is in charge of the B-side, with a typically melancholic and atmospheric vibe that reveals new layers in the original.

Eliana Glass also appears on Timmy Regisford's remix of Olympia, which showcases some of the New York legend's best qualities: a hypnotic and uplifting masterclass. Regisford's instrumental version of Olympia is also included here. Elsewhere, C.K brings intensity with a remix of By The End They Will, creating a raw and energetic cut.

The same song is reinterpreted by Octo Octa, who takes the vibe to unexpected depths and produces an idiosyncratic rave version while honoring the spirit of the original.
