Long-standing underground scene star Francesca Lombardo lands on Ovum with a trio of magnificent new sounds that are all her own. The Italian-born Lombardo has toured the world countless times, headlining the most stylish clubs and festivals for many years. Her blend of innovation and captivating rhythms continues on this latest EP. The vocals on the opening track ‘Magic Moment’ are a poem that Francesca’s friend Victoria sent to her. She held onto them for four years before finding the special inspiration that encouraged her to use them in these writing sessions. They lend the tune an intimate feel and pull you deep into the sleek house drums and warm synths. It is an inspiring and elegant track, with a standout Moog bassline that will captivate the dance floor. After the dub version comes ‘Sea’, a much more twisted and peak time techno track.
