Hands up – this is one of our all-time favourite tunes and frankly, we don’t understand those who don’t hold it in high regard. It’s an early dance scene classic, played everywhere from the Warehouse to Paradise Garage and still in a class of its own decades later. Alongside the brilliant original, which hails from a time when true songwriting and musical prowess defined house and disco, you get a Ron Hardy edit that’s quicker, with whispering hi-hats cutting through the funky grooves and insistent drums. Sublime.
